hello! I'm Makenzie!
I'm a wedding photographer and stationery designer in Western Kentucky. Thanks so much for stopping by the blog! This is where you can see my latest shoots & weddings, get some advice, or see what it's like behind the scenes! I hope you stay awhile.
It was a beautiful day as we drove up to the barn and saw how pretty it was. But then we stepped inside and our jaws dropped! The reception room in the barn looked amazing! They were in the midst of moving the outdoor ceremony into the opposite end of the barn due to a tornado watch. Then we went into the bridal room and found Kinsey getting her hair done by her mom and she looked breathtaking! She got dressed and read a letter from Cory while he read one from her. Followed by a really sweet first look with her dad. Then she went out to see Cory and the smiles came, along with some sweet happy tears! The day flowed smoothly and even in the midst of tornado watches, the weather remained beautiful…hot, but pretty! The funny thing is, it never rained a drop. But that didn’t matter! Their ceremony was full, but it was intimate and charming inside the small room of the barn. Everyone moved over to the other side for the reception and the party began. The dance floor kept going, all the way to their sparkler exit! I loved every single bit of Cory & Kinsey’s day and I’m honored to spend another wedding day with this sweet family and their friends.
